As reported some time ago, Microsoft finally released the security software Microsoft Security Essentials beta version . Microsoft Security Essentials is a freeware application for users of Windows XP operating system, Vista or Windows 7. This new application will replace the functions of Windows Live OneCare is aimed to meet the needs of computer security with a view that is easy to use interface.
When the software is run for the first time, the program will download and install virus definition the most recent and then scan the user’s computer system. Once installed, the Microsoft Security Essentials software will automatically download new virus definitions every day via Windows Update.
